HotelYear Built 1570 Year Remodeled 1997Additional Property Description The Best Western Lansdowne Stand Hotel Is A 16th Century Coaching Inn, Located On The A4, The Route Of The Ancient London To Bath Road. Well Located For Business, The Edge Of Bristol Being A 30 Minute Drive, Swindon Is Also Half An Hour Away, And The M4 Just 10 Minutes. Bedrooms Are Well Equipped And Very Spacious, Many Have Original Wooden Beams And There Are Three Rooms With Whirlpool Baths. The Lounge Bar With A Cozy Living Fire Is Complemented By The Wood Paneled Lansdowne Bar, Also With Its Own Fireplace And Three Real Ales. Chevals Bistro Is Air conditioned And Offers All Day Relaxed Dining, But With And Old World Atmosphere. Secure Parking Is Available In The Courtyard Which Is Overlooked By The Mediaeval Brew House.
