Description
The Clifton Hotel in Bristol, with 59 guestrooms over five floors, is set in a terrace of handsome 19th century neo classical houses in the centre of a lively city. Guestrooms are decorated in shades of russet and cream, with rich fabrics, bold wallpapers and antique style furniture. A welcome gift of hand baked biscuits and seasonal fruit greets new arrivals, and all guestrooms are equipped with satellite television, dial up Internet connections, direct dial telephones, tea/coffee makers and clock radios. Additionally, there are hair dryers, complimentary toiletries, sewing kits and trouser presses. Staff at the 24 hour desk if the Clifton are happy to help with advice on sightseeing in Bristol, and those arriving by car will appreciate the garage parking facilities (fee). At the Clifton Hotel, Bristol, free newspapers are available in the lobby and the hotel has a patio for sunny days. For a reduced fee, guests of the hotel can make use the gym and Olympic sized heated swimming pool at Clifton College; personal trainers are available on request.
